    Several topics have been discussed at the meeting.

*On the rent increase and the parking fee: Attendees made several comments.
It is decided that two committees would follow up the concerns and would
introduce an "effective" agenda for our next general meeting (on sep. 9) to
avoid excessive time waste on these two topics (while being as effective as
possible).

*Bus route
    It seems that the new bus route is the better that the previous one,
however:
    1- The service should be more frequent (now it is about 15 minutes, but
could be 6-10 minutes).
    2- Any route change should be announced in advance by PTT.

*UACC Web page
    It seems that UA would give us a computer and a desk in the office area.
We can then use this computer as the server of the UACC. The web page could
contain useful information for the residents, such as the list of the
videocassettes, etc.

*Three committees have been formed on the following topics:

    1- Rent Increase: Rahul is the executive officer of this task. He would
gather the inputs from the residents, would shop around to get some estimate
on the average rents of the other complexes in the vicinity of the campus.
The committee then compiles the data and would deal this issue accordingly.

    2- Parking fee hike: Unmil is the executive officer of this task. He
would encourage the participation of residents regarding the rent increase,
would gather the inputs and would deal with this issue accordingly.

    3- Events: Sandeep is leading this committee and Anand would assist him.
Sandeep suggests that we apply for some plans (=funds), which are available
through the dept. of resident life and other departments (e.g. diversity
plan)

*Sandeep also mentioned that the Executive Officers and Area Representatives
should attend the meeting. So in future please notify in advance, if you
have an excuse to skip the meeting.
